Prom dresses...as in plural!

I have to say that these two have me wrapped around their little fingers...Hannah and her best friend Amy.

Monday afternoon, I was bombarded with a huge request.
Both Hannah and Amy want me to make their prom dresses!
Hello, it is their Senior Prom and they are trusting me with their dresses!
Holy Cow!
Two Prom dresses before the 10th of April!
Smack dab in the middle of this is "Beauty and the Beast". The play will take 10 days out of the calendar.
Prom is on April 10th, so I will have about 34 days to come up with two dresses.

Here is a sample of what they are thinking:

I have a date with Hannah and Amy on Sunday to take measurements and go pattern shopping. Both Joann's and Hancock Fabrics have sales this weekend on patterns from various pattern makers. Once we get the patterns, then we will decide what colors, fabrics, trims, etc.

I am looking forward to this challenge!

Have a great day!

  1. Sounds like fun but I know how much work it is and how obsessed you will probably be with getting them right! I'm working on a dress for my oldest daughter right now that she needs for an event she will be attending in two weeks. I plan to blitz it and finish by midweek. I have so many other things to do!
Thanks for stopping and leaving a message, so nice to meet you:>)
